Hello!

I am Dr. Van Putten, a general pediatrician in the South Florida area. I am originally from Miami and wanted to work close to home when I finally settled down. My mother was born and raised in Nicaragua, which is how I learned to speak Spanish. My father is from New York but has Dutch ancestry, hence my last name. I went to undergraduate school at University of Florida for premed and got my bachelor's degree in Health Education and Behavior. Then, I went to University of South Florida in Tampa for my Master in Medical Sciences. After, I attended Nova Southeastern University for medical school where I met my husband who is a general dentist in the area. I just completed residency in Fort Lauderdale and have started to work as a general pediatrician close by. I have two golden doodle's who are my current children! It has been a long journey to get to where I am today and I am forever grateful for all who have helped me!

I wanted to create this space to help new mom's manage care for their kids. During this time of COVID there are so many stressors and I wanted to create a page to help.  These views are my own and not affiliated with my company. Just a safe space to discuss and unite the community. Thank you so much for following this page.
